Holding the opener perpendicular to the bottle firmly squeeze the teeth into the cork. While firmly gripping the opener move the eyelet back and forth until the wire breaks. While holding the bottle around the shoulder twist the opener and bottle in opposite directions. The pressure in the bottle will help push the cork out once twisting has started.
