Gardimax Medica Spray, sore throat 30 ml

Gardimax ®  Medica Spray is a medicine in the form of an aerosol for use in the oral cavity. The medicinal product is indicated symptomatically to  relieve pain caused by inflammation or irritation of the oral cavity and throat . Due to its form,  the medicine can be used in children from 2.5 years of age  and adults.

Gardimax Medica sore throat spray contains two active substances: chlorhexidine digluconate ( Chlorhexidini digluconatis solutio ) and lidocaine hydrochloride ( Lidocaini hydrochloridum ) in appropriately selected doses.

• Lidocaine hydrochloride  is a local anesthetic from the amide group with a surface anesthetic effect without disturbing the velocity of nerve impulse conduction at the site of application.
• Chlorhexidine  has antibacterial properties.  Streptococcus mutans  and  Streptococcus salivarius , or streptococci, are particularly sensitive to chlorhexidine .

Gardimax ® Medica Spray (20 mg + 5 mg)/10 ml topical oral aerosol  is sugar-free and can be used by diabetics. The 30 ml package is equipped with a convenient applicator that facilitates precise dosing of the drug.

Gardimax ®  Medica Spray is used in adults and children from 30 months of age in case of:

• sore throat,
• inflammation of the mouth and throat.

10 ml of spray contains:

• active substances: chlorhexidine digluconate solution 20 mg, lidocaine hydrochloride 5 mg,
• excipients: ethanol 96%, glycerol, levomenthol, cineole, sodium saccharin, citric acid monohydrate, purified water.

Analgesic, local anesthetic.

• Children from 12 years of age and adults:  3 to 5 doses at once, 6 to 10 times a day.
• Children from 30 months of age:  2 to 3 doses at a time, 3 to 5 times a day.
• The aerosol should be applied to the oral mucosa (pharyngeal).
• Point the dosing tip towards the throat and press the pump.
• It is advisable to clean the dosing tip daily as follows:
  • turn the bottle upside down and press the dosing pump until it is empty of the liquid remaining in the dosing tip (to prevent the solution from splashing out of the bottle),
  • remove the dosing tip from the dosing pump and place it in a tank of hot water for a few minutes,
  • remove the dosing tip from the water and leave to dry,
  • Install the dry dosing tip onto the dosing pump by turning it downwards to lock the dosing pump.
