Glas 1700 GT Convertible Dark Green Description
Description
The
understatement
of
the
Dingolfing
design
convertible
The
dream
of
open
driving
came
from
Dingolfing!
The
glass
1700
GT
convertible
could
have
been
the
stuff
to
a
huge
success.
But
the
automotive
history
wanted
it
differently
-
the
glass
works
were
taken
over
by
BMW.
WIKING
miniaturizes
the
classic,
the
model
of
which
only
came
on
the
market
in
small
numbers,
in
subtle
green.
Italian
design
aesthetics
and
the
claim
to
be
part
of
the
convertible
avant-garde
still
make
up
the
charm
of
this
glass
today.
The
Italian
coachbuilder
Frua
had
given
the
glass
1300
GT
sports
coupe
in
his
1963
presented
at
the
IAA
original
version
all
the
aesthetics
that
needed
a
contemporary
sports
car.
While
in
1964
the
delivery
of
the
first
75
hp
1300
GT
began,
started
in
September,
the
1700er
coupe
and
in
the
slipstream
of
the
beautiful
convertible
-
then
with
100
hp
and
a
top
speed
of
185
km
/
h
-
followed.
The
most
noticeable
change
in
the
glass
upgrade:
Due
to
the
higher
construction
of
the
engine,
the
hood
had
a
flat
scoop,
which
was
henceforth
used
for
all
models.
