Use Gripit Blue for seriously heavy stuff, this fixing will hold the heaviest of domestic heating boilers - no trouble.. Just one Gripit Blue holds up to 113KG. To install, you will require a 25mm drill bit. Each Gripit Blue is supplied with an M8 X 30mm bolt. Grip Its have now changed from having metal lugs to plastic lugs, these new mark 3 Gripits have a lower profile enabling the products fitted to be closer to the wall, the plastic wings are made from high density plastic that have no baring on the gripit load strength. Swapping over the metal wings is also a change that has happened after conversations with electricians who were worried about the metal wings touching bare cabling behind cavity walls, so this new enhanced wing is in fact a safety feature. Added to the above benefits, you can now open and close the wings by an additional screwdriver slot which has been added, so you only require one size screwdriver, no need to fiddle around with the smaller screws anymore, which have been blanked off.
