The active ingredient of Gynoxin® Uno, an over-the-counter drug for mixed and fungal intimate infections, is fenticonazole. 1 vaginal capsule contains 600 mg of fenticonazole nitrate (Fenticonazole nitras). Excipients are: liquid paraffin, white petrolatum, soy lecithin, gelatin, glycerol, titanium dioxide (E 171), ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 215), sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 217).

Dosage - how to use Gynoxin® Uno?

1 vaginal capsule for single use.

Apply deeply into the vagina at bedtime. If symptoms persist, the next dose may be repeated after three days.

The drug for intimate infections Gynoxin® Uno is intended for use in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age. Patients over 60 years of age should consult a doctor before use.

Gynoxin® Uno vaginal capsule is intended for vaginal use only.

It should not be taken by mouth.

Contraindications / When not to use Gynoxin® Uno?

In case of hypersensitivity to fenticonazole or any of the excipients.

Warnings and Precautions:

A mild, temporary burning sensation may occur after inserting the capsule into the vagina.

Gynoxin® Uno vaginal capsules for intimate infections should not be used simultaneously with barrier contraceptives. This medicine contains fats and oils which may damage latex barrier contraceptives.

Gynoxin® Uno against intimate infections should be discussed with a doctor if:

• the patient is over 60 years of age,
• the first time you are infected
• the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding,
• barrier contraceptives made of latex are used at the same time. It is recommended to use an alternative method of contraception when taking this medicine.
• hypersensitivity reactions to the drug occur,
• symptoms will not improve in 7 days or will get worse
• you have had at least four infections in the last year
• you or your partner have ever had a sexually transmitted disease
• you are allergic to imidazole or other vaginal antifungal medicines
• you have any of the following symptoms:
• abnormal or irregular bleeding
• vaginal discharge stained with blood,
• vaginal bleeding and / or pain in the arms
• wounds of the vagina and vulva, including ulcers and blisters,
• pain in the lower abdomen, back pain and pain when urinating,
• fever, nausea
• smelly vaginal discharge,

Side effects such as irritation, redness, swelling, itching, rash, which are related to the treatment.

If you chew and / or swallow a vaginal capsule, contact your doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital.

If the partner is also infected, its simultaneous treatment is recommended.

Gynoxin® Uno during pregnancy and breastfeeding:

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.
• Do not use Gynoxin® Uno in pregnant or breast-feeding women, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
• Do not use Gynoxin®Uno in women of childbearing age who are not using contraceptives.

Driving vehicles and operating machinery:

Gynoxin® Uno has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Storage / Shelf Life:

• The drug should not be stored above 30 ° C.
• Keep the drug out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use this medication after it has expired.
