Advanced Physician-formulated non-invasive scar strips specifically designed to mitigate scar formation and manage existing scars from surgery, injury, acne, and damaged skin.

The advanced medical-grade silicone in our physician formulated scar strips has been clinically studied to improve the appearance of raised and discolored scar tissue and create a natural barrier to minimize overproduction of collagen which results in scars that are flatter, softer, and less visible with consistent use.

Intended use: Silicone sheeting is intended for use in the management of closed hyperproliferative (hypertrophic and keloid) scars.

Suggested Use

Adults and children 3 years of age and older. 

1. Wash and dry both scar and hands.  
2. Cut sheeting to desired size covering the scar area, remove the plastic film, and apply with the tacky side down to the affected area. 
3. Wear sheets for 12 to 24 hours, remove daily to be cleaned. Scar softening may occur in just a few days. Texture and appearance may improve in as little as 4-8 weeks, longer in older scars. 
4. Use consistently for at least 60-90 days. 

For best results, use consistently for 6-12 months. Individual results may vary.

Durable silicone sheeting can be washed with mild soap and water and reused up to 14 days.

Ingredients

Dimethicone, silicon dioxide on a silicone elastomer backing.

Warnings

Non-sterile. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Do not ingest. Do not use on open wounds. Avoid usage if known allergy to silicone rubber. Discontinue use if rash or allergic reaction occurs and consult your physician. Choking hazard, keep out of reach of children under age 3.

Typical hyperproliferative scars may arise from surgery, injury, and extreme acne situations and are covered & applicable use cases for this product. 

Minimize prolonged exposure to water (bathing) and sweating (exercise). Minimize stretching of the silicone sheet during application and removal. Avoid storing in areas of extreme heat, light or moisture.
