Product DescriptionProduct description Hempel UNDERWATER PRIMER is an underwater primer with excellent waterproofing properties, for use on all substrates. Also as a tiecoat that can be used between antifouling and hull primer systems, and between and existing antifouling and a new antifouling. For use below the waterline. Recommended use: As a maintenance primer for antifouling coatings on wooden boats. PHYSICAL CONSTANTS: Colours/Shade nos: Grey 19000 Finish: Flat Solids by volume, %: 38 1 Theoretical spreading rate: 8 m²/litre - 50 micron 305 sq.ft/US gallon - 2 mils Flash Point: 35/95F Specific gravity: 1.2 kg/litre - 10.0 lbs/US gallon Dry to touch: 2-3 hours at 20C/68F 4-6 hours at 10C/50F V.O.C.: 495 g/litre - 4.0lbs/US gallon The physical constants stated are nominal data according to the HEMPEL Group's approved formulas.
