Hornby R8244 00 Gauge Remote Uncoupler Unit Model Description
Hornby 00 Gauge Remote Uncoupler unit. Uncouple wagons and coaches remotely using the R8244 Uncoupler Unit. Fits where two Hornby R600 straights join or half way along a Hornby R601 Double Straight. For electrical operation use an R8243 surface mounted point motor or an R8014 point motor which is required to be fitted beneath the base board. Ideal unit for Hornby Digital operation but can be operated by analogue DC. Safety warning: This product is not suitable for children under 3 years. It contains small parts which can present a choking hazard and some components have functional sharp points and edges. Handle with care. Hornby is a household name and is famous as the UK brand leader in the model railway hobby. The company's founder was Frank Hornby who applied for a patent in 1901 to protect an invention he called 'Improvements in Toy or Educational Devices for Children and Young People'.
