Summary
- Characteristics: Deciduous foliage, red tinted stems with cone-shaped flowers that change from white-to-pink-to-red as the seasons change.
- Height & Spread: Grows to around 2.5m tall, spreads to roughly 2.5m wide
- Period of Interest: Spring, Summer and Autumn interest. Mid-green, toothed leaves and red stems bearing loose clusters of small white flowers in Spring changing to pink in Summer and maturing to red in Autumn.
- Plant Advice: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Grows best under full sun. Tolerates partial shade. Prune regularly in Spring before budding for larger, healthier flowers.

Hydrangea
'Wim's
Red'
is
a
bushy
deciduous
shrub
with
toothed
green
leaves.
They
develop
strong
red-tinted
branching
stems
that
grow
to
around
30cm
tall,
the
stems
develop
cone
shaped
flower
clusters
in
spring
that
initally
present
as
white.
As
the
seasons
progress
into
summer
the
colour
is
more
pink,
before
becoming
a
more
mature
wine-red
colour
in
Autumn.
A
hardy
plant,
'Wims
Red'
is
suited
to
almost
any
soil,
provided
it
is
most
and
well-drained.
It
can
be
placed
in
partial
shade
but
does
equally
well
in
full
sun,
ideal
as
a
low-growing
ground
cover,
or
to
fill
a
gap
in
a
colourful
border.

9cm pot with plant at least 2 foot tall...a couple of yellow leaves but strong plant- great root ball...instructions for planting or carelessly would have been good though..
