Ibuprom Ultramax Sprint 600 mg is a drug belonging to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), intended for adults for the short-term treatment of acute pain of moderate intensity.

The active ingredient is ibuprofen at a dose of 600 mg , which has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects. The drug acts symptomatically, helping to reduce pain and inflammation and lower elevated body temperature.

Ibuprom Ultramax Sprint can be used on an ad hoc basis for headaches, migraines, toothaches, muscle, joint and back pain, as well as post-traumatic, post-operative and menstrual pain.

Ibuprom Ultramax Sprint 600 mg – indications

Ibuprom Ultramax Sprint 600 mg is used in adults for the short-term treatment of acute moderate pain of various origins, such as:

• headaches, including migraines,
• toothache,
• muscle pain,
• joint and bone pain,
• back pain,
• post-traumatic pain,
• postoperative pain, including after dental procedures,
• neuralgia,
• painful menstruation.

Composition of Ibuprom Ultramax Sprint 600 mg

1 capsule contains:

Active substance: ibuprofen 600 mg.

Excipients: macrogol 600, potassium hydroxide, purified water.

Capsule shell: gelatin, partially dehydrated liquid sorbitol, purified water.

Composition of Opacode black NS-78-17821 ink: black iron oxide (E 172), isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, hypromellose.

Ibuprom Ultramax Sprint Action

Ibuprom Ultramax Sprint belongs to the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) . The ibuprofen contained in the preparation inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins involved in the development of pain, inflammation, and fever.

The drug has the following effects:

• analgesic – helps reduce the intensity of pain,
• anti-inflammatory – relieves symptoms associated with inflammation,
• antipyretic – helps lower elevated body temperature.

The preparation has a symptomatic effect and is intended for short-term use.

Ibuprom Ultramax Sprint 600 mg – dosage

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults: the recommended single dose is 600 mg of ibuprofen, i.e. 1 capsule .

If necessary, the 600 mg dose may be repeated after an interval of 6–8 hours .

Without consulting a doctor, the maximum daily dose should not exceed 1200 mg of ibuprofen (2 capsules) .

Ibuprom Ultramax Sprint 600 mg should only be used if the patient does not experience improvement with 400 mg of ibuprofen, with a maximum dose of 1200 mg of ibuprofen per day. In this case, the 600 mg dose can be taken 6–8 hours apart from the 400 mg dose.

The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest time necessary to relieve symptoms.
