Tips for using ice cube bags

Make colorful ice cubes yourself
Toppits ice cube bags are the perfect tool for creating beautiful, colored ice cubes that liven up drinks for kids and adults alike. The ice cube bags can be used to freeze juice, juice or lemonade, and it's as easy as possible as the bags are so easy to handle. One tip is to fill one bag with, for example, cherry juice and another with pineapple juice. Together, the ice cubes of the two juices create a wonderful combination of both color and taste. The colorful ice cubes give a cool effect in contrast to water - so it will be easier to get enough liquid in the children this summer.

Unused ice cubes, which you leave in the ice cube bag from Toppits, can be put back in the freezer at any time thanks to the special opening corner.

Make clear ice cubes
Perhaps you have seen clear ice cubes that look almost magical? The trick behind the effect is simple: clear ice cubes are formed when the water
freezes slowly so that small air bubbles dissolve. It is these that usually give a milky, cloudy tone in "normal" ice cubes.
In the restaurant industry, there are suitable machines that manage this process smoothly and fix a perfect result. But, with a simple little trick, you can make clear ice cubes at home too.

In order for the ice in the ice cube bag to freeze slowly, you can put a small cooler bag or some other type of insulating cooling container in the freezer. In this way, the cold is shielded, and then you place the ice cube bags from Toppits in the cooling container. The liquid in the bag freezes more slowly under these conditions, allowing the air bubbles to dissolve. From Toppits ice cube bags, you can easily take out individual ice cubes and then safely store the rest in the freezer. Especially during the height of summer, it is easy for the ice cubes not to be completely frozen or for someone to leave a half-full bag of ice cubes in the heat. A trick to keep the texture and shape of the stars a little longer, even at room temperature, is to place them in a strainer. Try placing the strainer over a tray, so that the melt water can drip off the ice cubes without problems. Heat development in air is slower than over water, which means that the ice cubes last longer, even at warm temperatures. So your drink stays nice and chilled for an extra long time!
