It Does This With 1% Accuracy Over An Impressive Voltage, Current, And Temperature Range, While Transmitting Data In An Easy-To-Use Format Over I2c.
2. Works Perfectly With for Any Circuitpython Or for Compatible Microcontroller As Well As Single Board Computers Such As for . It Is Compatible With 3v Or 5v Logic And Can Measure Bus Voltages Up To +36vdc. Not Suitable For Ac Voltage.
3. The Voltage Across The Integrated 2 Milliohm (0.002 Ohm!), 0.1% Shunt Resistor Is Measured By An Internal 16-Bit Adc, Allowing An Impressive Current Range To Be Measured With 1.5 Ma Resolution. (The Resistance Of The Resistor Is So Low That Some Multimeters Register It As A Short Circuit!)
4. In High-Side Configuration, The Bus Voltage Measurement And Power Calculation Can Be Retrieved Accurately, But Advanced Hackers Who Want To Measure The Bus Voltage In Low-Side Configuration Need To Cut The Jumper Connecting V+ And Vbus And Connect The Vbus Pin To The Voltage Bus.

Most Current Measuring Devices Operate With Some Significant Limitations That Limit Their Usefulness. Many Are Low Side Only, Which Can Cause Problems When The Ground Reference Changes With Current Flow. Other Devices, Such As Its Sister Ina219b, Avoid This By Measuring The High Side, But Require Changing Their Shunt Resistor To Measure A Different Current Range. The Ina260 Avoids These Limitations And With Its Integrated Precision Shunt Resistor It Can Be Used To Continuously Measure Currents Up To 15A At +36V On The High Or Low Side.
