Inaldin Throat 1.5 mg/ml is a non-prescription drug in the form of a spray for use in the oral cavity in the case of inflammation of the mucous membrane and throat. Its active ingredient is benzydamine, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It has local anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects and has a local anesthetic effect on the oral mucosa.
Inaldin Throat SprayThe drug Inaldin Gardło 1.5 mg/ ml is well tolerated, suitable for local treatment of symptoms of inflammation and can be used by small children under 6 years of age.
The medicine is a clear, colorless solution with a characteristic mint scent, placed in a white bottle with a dosing pump and applicator. One package of Inaldin Gardło 1.5 mg/ ml is enough for up to 150 applications.
Inaldin Gardło 1.5 mg/ ml, oromucosal spray is used to treat symptoms associated with inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat, such as:
- pain,
- reddening,
- edema.
1 ml of solution contains:
- Active substance: 1.5 mg benzydamine hydrochloride, equivalent to 1.34 mg benzydamine.
- excipients: methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), sodium cyclamate (E 952), glycerol (E 422), sodium hydrogen carbonate, polysorbate 80, ethanol 96%, peppermint flavour (containing peppermint oil, ethanol, menthol), concentrated phosphoric acid (to adjust pH), purified water.
Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, decongestant, antiseptic and local anesthetic.
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- Children under 6 years of age: 1 spray dose per 4 kg of body weight 2 to 6 times a day, no more often than every 1.5 - 3 hours. Regardless of body weight, no more than 4 spray doses should be used at one time.
- Children aged 6 to 12 years: 4 doses of the spray 2 to 6 times a day, not more often than every 1.5 – 3 hours.
- Adults and children over 12 years of age: 4 to 8 doses of the spray 2 to 6 times a day; not more often than every 1.5 – 3 hours.
- Elderly: no dosage adjustment necessary.
- Do not use Inaldin Throat for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
How to use Inaldin Throat 30 ml?
- Place the dispenser tip in a horizontal position.
- When using the medicine for the first time, hold the bottle in a vertical position and press the nozzle firmly with your thumb or index finger. This action should be repeated 5 times to obtain a proper spray.
- If the medicine is used for the second time, the dispenser should be pressed twice.
- Then point the tip of the dispenser into your mouth and press the dispenser.
Allergy to benzydamine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
