Product Description Interpet Aqualibrium First Aid Salt Additive is a unique balanced formulation of essential physiological salts for promoting the health of freshwater fish. Aqualibrium stabilises the aquarium water conditions including the essential pH value to create the perfect environment for fish. It can be used as a general tonic to help fishes' immune systems combat disease and as a mild pH buffer to keep pH levels stable. Fish are subject to severe stress at times, which makes them more susceptible to disease. Aqualibrium helps to minimise the effects of stress and reduces the effects of toxic waste products like nitrite. Aqualibrium is also recommended as a support to treatments for fish diseases.  Maintaining 0.1% Aqualibrium constantly in the aquarium will help your fishes' immune system to combat disease. Aqalibrium of this level will also guard against potentially damaging swings in pH (excess alkalinity or acidity), by helping to keep the pH stable at an ideal level for most freshwater fish.When treating certain diseases, such as Ulcers, Dropsy, Fungus etc. with fish medications it is recommended to support the treatment with a course of Aqualibrium Salt at 0.9% for the duration of the treatment.Dose directly into the aquarium in stages.
