Jovial pasta is made with wholesome whole grain brown rice grown on small family farms. We work directly with the farmers and each harvest is certified glyphosate-free by The Detox Project.

Shells with Creamy Walnut Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 cup walnuts 
• 3 tbsp. jovial Extra Virgin Olive Oil 
• 1 clove garlic, minced 
• 1 tbsp. parsley, minced 
• 1 tsp. fresh marjoram, minced
• 1/2 tsp. fine sea salt 
• 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes 
• 1/2 cup heavy cream 
• 34 cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano 
• 12 oz. jovial Shells

Cooking Time: 

• 12 Minutes 
• Bring 3 quarts of water to a rolling boil. 
• Add salt as desired. 
• Cook pasta on high heat, stirring frequently. 
• Test for doneness and drain.

1. Add walnuts, olive oil, garlic, parsley, marjoram, salt, and red pepper to a food processor and process until finely chopped. 
2. Add heavy cream and cheese and process until smooth. 
3. Cook pasta according to cooking instructions below. Remove 3 tablespoons of pasta cooking water and stir into the walnut sauce before draining the pasta. 
4. Toss pasta with sauce, add grated cheese, and serve.
