Keshi pearls are flat, knobbly slabs rather than beads, so laid side by side they sit slightly at odds with each other and the gold beads between them keep the line from looking crowded. The slider is the practical part: you pull the two chain ends and it holds, which is why this fits a 15 cm wrist and an 18 cm one equally, and why it goes on without help. Two more small keshi pearls finish the loose ends.
