LBX: Little Battlers eXperience lets players build, customize and battle robots using more than 130 models and more than 4,000 in-game parts. Play as Van Yamano, a young boy who comes upon a unique LBX -- a complex, customizable, palm-sized robot. Use it -- and team up with familiar characters from the hit TV series -- to take down the evil corporation known as the New Dawn Raisers. Up to six players can connect via local wireless to battle it out.
Little Battlers eXperience is the first game for Nintendo 3DS in the next hit series from developer LEVEL-5 - the force behind series like Inazuma Eleven and Professor Layton - which also spans a successful anime series, manga and toy line. The game follows the first season of the anime, set in the year 2046 and telling the story of Van Yamano, a middle-school student who is a fan of the palm-sized LBX robots: a range of toys that were previously deemed too dangerous to control. Since the invention of Battle Boxes - dioramas made from an advanced type of fortified cardboard - kids can safely let their LBXs duke it out in dedicated arenas via remote control units.
Collect and build your own palm-sized robot from more than 4,000 parts to create a one-of-a-kind LBX, choosing from more than 130 different complete sets of matching parts, or mixing and matching. Customise both external parts and interior parts individually to enhance your LBX's capabilities.
Battle as your LBX against friends and foes in third-person view with local wireless multiplayer mode, and battle other LBX models in 20 different arenas with unique environmental characteristics. In local wireless multiplayer play, up to six players can battle using a variety of different rules.
