Leef Access-C Micro SD Card Reader - Type-C USB Connection Description
If you own a camera drone or an action camera, chances are the memory card is getting pretty full. Many of these mobile photography gadgets use MicroUSB memory cards as storage to cut down on weight. This keeps them small and light, but as more and more phones get rid of microUSB slots, it's not the easiest format to work with. That's where the Leef Access-C comes in.
The Leef Access-C is a Micro USB card reader that attaches to your mobile device. Using it couldn't be simpler. You plug your MicroSD card into the slot at the bottom of the device, and then plug the Type-C USB connector at the top of the device into your mobile device charging port. That's it! Now you can transfer your files, letting you free up space on the card or create backups to keep your treasured footage safe from corruption.
The Leef Access-C all about connectivity, so why would it limit itself to only one kind of device? It doesn't matter whether you're running the latest tablet or a budget smartphone, as long as your mobile device has a USB Type C connection, this Micro SD card reader will work pair with it and start transferring your footage in no time. The USB Type C connector pokes far out from the USB card reader body, so there's no pieces of plastic to get in the way of a smooth connection; it will fit the dimensions of any phone or tablet.
As well as working with well with Android devices, this USB card reader works on any computer with a type-C USB plug as well. This is especially great if your phone's running out of storage space or if you want a backup copy of your files!
This plug in card reader has one last trick up its sleeve: the companion app! The app is free to download for all Android devices running Android v7.0 or above and gives you a bunch of extra functionality when you use the Leef Access-C. Now instead of just transferring your files, you can quickly scrub through them to check their quality. And if you've recorded videos, you can use the app to create 30 second highlight clips, perfect for posting to social media!
SD card readers, like all tech dongles, are all too easy to misplace. The next time you want to transfer video from your drone to your mobile device, do you really want to be scrabbling around on all fours, searching for a tiny attachment? Of course not, and neither does Leef. That's why the Leef Access-C comes with a carry anywhere case. You can fit your plug in card reader snugly into the silicone case, so it won't pop out without you meaning to. A small hole at the top of the case allows you to attach it to your keyring or thread a nylon string connected to your backpack through it. With the Leef Access-C, your videos and photos are always close by.
