The weighing sensor is connected to HX711 using a four wire Wheatstone bridge configuration. These are usually colored RED, , , GRN, and . Each color corresponds to the conventional color code of the weighing sensor: Red (motivation+or VCC)
Black (excitation or GND)
White (amplifier+, signal+or output+)
Green (A -, S -, or O -)
Yellow (blocked)

The pin is used as an optional input and is not connected to a strain gauge, but is used for grounding and shielding against external (electromagnetic interference). Please note that some force sensors may have slight variations in color coding.
