LTP Boiled Linseed Oil is the traditional pre-polish sealer for use on terracotta, stone and wood. This viscous liquid enhances the natural red, orange, and yellows found in terracotta and timbers. It also offers good mechanical strength once cured. As a wood sealer it is suitable for all types of wooden garden furniture. The oil protects the wood from drying out after long periods in the sun and gives it a lasting natural sheen. Can be used internally or externally on unpolished surfaces. Hardwood such as teak and oak should be treated with Stone Oil rather than linseed oil. Coverage: Medium Porosity Terracotta - 1-2 litres per 10m2, High Porosity Terracotta - 3-4 litres per 10m2 Coverage on wood: 1 L = 8 - 10 mt sq. . Drying time: 24 hours between coats, 24- 48 hours for the final coat to dry depending on the conditions.
