The lids open separately as well, and the hydraulic supports keep them open, meaning you don't need three hands to attend to your refuse - you can simply close the lid when you're ready. Cord is included, that can be tied from the store lid to the lid of your bin, meaning that both can open at the same time, again easing the struggle when laden with rubbish bags.
