MIDI Interface Shield for Arduino R3 Description
This MIDI interface shield provides a breakout board for Arduino R3, enabling the addition of MIDI communication to your projects. It comes with MIDI-IN, MIDI-OUT, and MIDI THRU ports, and the MIDI-IN port is optically isolated to prevent ground loops. The unit mounts directly as a shield, connecting to the Arduino's RX and TX pins, and includes a RUN/PGM switch for programming the serial port without removal. All Arduino data, analog, power, and bus lines are brought out for convenient use. Measuring approximately 57.4 x 53.1mm, the board is finished in green.
