Mistborn: House War is a competitive strategy game set in Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn world, where players lead powerful noble houses in the Final Empire. Each player works to increase their influence, gather resources, manipulate political conditions, and pursue personal ambitions while navigating the shifting balance of power under the Lord Ruler.

Players compete for control and prestige through negotiation, tactical card play, and carefully timed actions. Cooperation may be useful, but alliances are temporary and every house ultimately serves its own interests. The game combines thematic conflict with economic and political decision-making, creating a tense experience for groups who enjoy direct interaction, calculated deals, and asymmetric objectives.
