Developed in conjunction with Montaness lead athlete and big wall climber Andy Kirkpatrick, leading British mountain guides and outdoor activists, the Fast Alpine 40 exudes functionality. The Fast Alpine 40 is designed to carry heavy climbing equipment to the base of a route and can compress down tightly when relatively empty. It works perfectly in conjunction with a technical climbing harness and is robust enough to cope with contact against abrasive rock surfaces. Most importantly, it is comfortable on long routes when dynamic climbing manoeuvres are required. CONSTRUCTION The Montane Fast Alpine 40 Litre is Constructed from RAPTOR RS fabric in the main body which is tough yet lightweight and features a superb Durable Water Resistance and tear resistance properties for partial weather protection and reinforcement from sharp trail terrains. The is also the utlisation of RAPTOR UTL tough, lightweight panels for additional abrasion protection against rock surfaces and GRANITE STRETCH skirt lid side panels give a clean fabric hugging lid closure. Lastly another Super lightweight HALO lining fabric has a 1m hydrostatic head and offers additional protection to contents. BACK SYSTEM The Minimalist, lightweight moulded MONTANE Comfort Climb Back Pad features channels that enhance ventilation and wick moisture away from the body fro fast drying relief as you perform.
