Mountfield SP185 Four-Wheeled Self-Propelled Rotary Mower 18"

Mountfield SP185 Four-Wheeled Self-Propelled Rotary Mower 18" Description

Anyone seeking a high-quality but nevertheless affordable petrol rotary-mower for a medium-sized lawn should give the attractively priced and solidly built Mountfield SP185 some serious consideration!

One of the only Briggs & Stratton-powered machines in its class, the Mountfield SP185 Petrol Lawnmower features one of the famous US manufacturer's 300 Series engines. These four-stroke air-cooled motors are premium units with OHV technology for optimised performance and a longer service-life; a Lo-Tone™ muffler for a quieter and less stressful working-environment; and a Magnetron® electronic ignition for fast, dependable starting.

A great choice for lawns with banked sections and/or areas of rough terrain, the Mountfield SP185 Petrol Lawnmower benefits from a rear-wheel power-drive that means you'll get the job done with far less effort expended than would be using a hand-propelled model.

It's fitted with a comfortable, ergonomically optimised handlebar, which you can fold down if space is at a premium in your storage area; and it blends six preset heights-of-cut with three-in-one mowing (bag; mulch; cut & drop) to ensure you'll enjoy hard-to-beat flexibility of use.

The capacious 60-litre grass-collector that comes with the Mountfield SP185 is made from fabric, which allows spent air to escape, in turn enabling the maximum amount of clippings to be packed-in. A hard top on the catcher prevents dust and pollen particles from rising-up into the user's face when conditions are dry.

Also important on the Mountfield SP185 3-in-1 Self-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower is its rugged, 46cm-wide steel cutter-deck, which brings peace-of-mind when it comes to robustness and longevity.
