Great product. Use in dust bath, nest box and coop. Keeps my laydees free of mites.
When I realised what the problem was - after my poor cat and I had been bitten to pieces, I was in an absolute panic because bed bugs are notoriously difficult to get rid of. I searched the internet and there were many remedies on offer - bicarbonate of soda, tea tree oil, steam cleaning, etc, but the reviews for Diatomaceous Earth powder caught my eye, so I ordered a kilo from Muliti Mite.
If I remember rightly, the product cost under £7 and delivery was free - I would have gladly paid three times as much to rid my home of those unwanted visitors, so it was very good value for money.
The product is not harmful to pets, which I was pleased with because my poor cat, Tytchee, had endured enough discomfort due to being continually bitten by the bugs. I actually sprinkled her with the powder while she was having a snooze and, although she didn't appreciate it, I noticed that her scratching diminished and then ceased after a few hours.
I covered my whole flat in the powder - sofa, carpet, armchair, Tytchee's many beds/basket, and left it for a week, after which I hoovered and then repeated the process. I'd already removed the sofa covers and washed them at the highest temperature and then dried them at a high temperature.
I am now very happy to say that my home is now free of bed bugs, Tytchee and I have not been bitten once since I took the above action, so all's well that ends well; also, there's plenty of the powder left for future use, which I hope isn't necessary!
I would certainly recommend Multi Mite's product to anyone whose life is being blighted by these miniature vampires.
