Product DescriptionThe two pieces of the hourglass-shaped Hug salt & pepper Shakers fit together in a sweet embrace, making it easy to carry the pair to the table as if they were one. Each has a differing Number of holes on top and black and white plastic plugs underneath for identification.Aptly named Hug, these two hourglass-shaped shakers make a romantic pair. One features a crescent-moon cutout along its length that fully embraces the other, which has a perfectly round top and bottom. Both of the shakers stand six inches tall, are quite heavy, and are utterly compelling both individually and as a snug-together unit. The crescent top features three holes, the round top just one (black and white plastic plugs underneath may be used to specify pepper or salt). The Hug set is a creation of one of Nambé's most prolific and award-winning designers, Karim Rashid. The metal shakers will not chip or crack, and will maintain their mirror finish as long as they are washed by hand, never in a dishwasher. Nambé was founded in 1951 in a village of the same name in scenic northern New Mexico.
