New Age Bowls Description

New Age Bowls is an ideal introduction to bowls for players of any ability. Endorsed by Bowls England, World Bowls and the English Indoor Bowls Association, New Age Bowls is a versatile version of bowls which is often used as a coaching aid for beginners.

Like all games from the manufacturer New Age Kurling, New Age Bowls is designed for play on any flat surface, both indoors and outdoors.

The balls are made from lightweight plastic foam but act just like a professional bowls ball on most surfaces. Weighing around just 200g each, New Age Bowls is well suited for disabled players who may have difficult holding and playing with heavier balls. A New Age Bowls ramp is also available for players who can't easily bend down to roll the ball.

This set contains 4 blue bowls and 4 red bowls, as well as a yellow jack, a foot mat and a carrying bag to keep it all safely together.

New Age Kurling started over 15 years ago, when its founder came up with the idea of recreating popular sports that could be enjoyed by disabled people. Now there is a range of accessible New Age Kurling games available, including adaptions of curling, bowls, boccia and petanque. Their games have even been used in hospital rehabilitation programs as they exercise muscles that are often not used, while requiring no physical fitness to play.
