Cells Used in Our Battery Packs

We use branded Lishen cells with low internal resistance and high current efficiency. These parameters ensure failure-free operation of the pack for many years.

Thanks to the use of high-current Lishen cells, we are able to offer a quality guarantee. We have the knowledge, equipment and all components necessary for the production and repair of the battery packs we offer.

Pre-Welded Nickel Tabs

Ready-made output tabs welded to the cell pack allow for quick and reliable connection of external contacts or battery holders. Clean, low-resistance welds ensure durability and performance. No electronics or additional tapes are included - these packs are designed specifically for NiCd and NiMH applications where only the cells and welded tabs are required. The cells have a height of 42 mm.

Replacement Difficulty Levels

Basic - no advanced soldering skills or technical knowledge required. The ability to solder wires using any type of soldering iron is sufficient.

General Battery Pack Handling Guide - Li-Ion & NiMH/NiCd Before Installation

• Inspect all cells for damage, swelling (Li-Ion), leakage (NiMH/NiCd) or corrosion.
• Ensure correct polarity and clean terminal contacts.
• Do not mix different battery types or new with used cells.

Cell Characteristics

• Li-Ion: nominal voltage ~3.7V per cell (max 4.2V / min 3.0V).
• NiMH/NiCd: nominal voltage ~1.2V per cell (fully charged ~1.4V / min ~1.0V).

Charging

• Use chargers specifically designed for the chemistry type.
• Li-Ion: always use a BMS or protection circuit. Charge in a fireproof location.
• NiMH/NiCd: use a smart charger with peak detection. Avoid overcharging and long-term trickle-charging of NiCd batteries.

Storage

• Store both types in a cool (15-25C), dry place, away from direct sunlight.
• Li-Ion: store at ~3.7V per cell (40-60% capacity) for long-term storage.
• NiMH/NiCd: recharge every 2-3 months to prevent deep discharge.

Safety Tips

• Never short-circuit terminals or expose batteries to flame, heat or water.
• Stop using a battery that shows signs of overheating, swelling or leaking.
• Do not puncture or open sealed cells.

Disposal

• Dispose of all battery types at designated recycling points.
• NiCd contains hazardous cadmium - never throw it in regular trash.
