This easy-to-use plug-and-play check engine code reader reads and clears codes, retrieves generic codes (P0, P2, P3, and U0), manufacturer-specific codes (P1, P3, and U1), and pending codes, and displays DTC definitions on the TFT colour screen. It helps check engine-related fault codes, identify what caused the check engine light to come on, and turn off the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light).

Freeze frame data and I/M readiness are included to help you retrieve information recorded in the ECU under fault conditions, making it easier to understand why the check engine light is on and reducing the time needed for test-drive cycle verification. It also displays key engine parameters such as RPM, vehicle speed, mass airflow, engine load, fuel pressure, short-term and long-term fuel trim, engine coolant temperature, and more. This compact pocket code reader supports all OBD2 protocols, including KWP2000, ISO2000, ISO9141, J1850 VPW, J1850 PWM, and CAN. It is compatible with all OBDII-compliant passenger cars and light trucks built after 1996 in the US, and after 2000 for EU-based and Asian cars. It also enables retrieval of vehicle identification information, including VIN, Calibration ID(s), and Calibration Verification Numbers (CVNs), which is especially useful when checking whether the ECU matches the car before buying a used vehicle.
