The Apeks SMB is not only the perfect marker buoy for surface signalling, but can also be used as an emergency float. Brass eyelets at the ends of the float allow the diver to assemble the unit and secure it to a floating loop using screws.

• The unique oral inflation valve allows for easy one-handed operation in cold water.
• The stainless steel D-ring allows for easy attachment to a reel or spool.
• 2 x brass eyelets at the top of the SMB allow for the attachment of a torch or strobe; they also allow the SMB to be folded and used as an emergency float.
• SOLAS reflective tape on both sides ensures maximum visibility in rough seas and in the dark.
• A simple bungee closure system with an enlarged rubber loop allows for easy stowing and deployment, even when wearing gloves.
• Inflates the SMB to 1.4 metres in a single breath
• Fully taped and heat-sealed edges ensure that the SMB is extremely durable.
• Reflective logo print.
• Overpressure safety valve with pull cord ensures easy operation even when wearing gloves.
• Available in orange and yellow.
• Supplied in plastic packaging free of charge.
