Orzo is a short-cut pasta that looks like a big grain of rice. When paired with other orzo colours or white rice, such as in a white rice pilaf with orange orzo, the colour of the orzo pops out.
• ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: Orzo pasta can be eaten on its own, as a soup side dish, in salads, pilafs, or giouvetsi, or baked in a casserole. Saffron, chillies, and black beans can be used to colour orzo to make yellow, orange, or black pasta. In Italian soups like minestrone, orzo pasta is frequently cooked.
