AN INTRIGUING NAME\n\nO.V.D stands for Old Vatted Demerara, a style of rum blending unique to the Demerara region of Guyana.\n\nBORN IN\n\n1838 O.V.D rum was first blended and bottled in 1838 on Dock Street, Dundee, Scotland.\n\nIT ALL BEGAN WITH A VISIONARY ENTREPRENEUR\n\nIt was first bottled by George Morton, a draper from the outskirts of Edinburgh and Scotlandâ€™s rum pioneer.\n\nIT SOON BECAME SCOTLANDâ€™S FAVOURITE RUM\n\nA title it has retained for the past 180 years.\n\nA TRUE DEMERARA RUM\n\nO.V.D is distilled in a unique wooden Coffey still in Guyana, using the sweet molasses from Demerara sugar.\n\nUNIQUELY RICH CHARACTER\n\nSublime toffee flavours with rich and fruity notes and a mellow, creamy finish.
