Product Description\n\n\nDEEP CLEANER is a powerful, water washable, solvent free remover and cleaner that strips out new, old and encrusted oils from exterior wooden surfaces and cleans severely weathered wood. Biodegradable, DEEP CLEANER is suitable for environmentally sensitive areas, while its gel consistency means it will not run, making it ideal for vertical surfaces. Easy to apply and fast acting, DEEP CLEANER quickly and efficiently removes the mill glaze, which is created in the manufacturing process, from the surface of new wood, thus improving the penetration and adhesion of a finish.\n\n\nProperties\n\n\n

\n\n\nSurface Preparation\n\n\n

\n\n\n
• Remove any loose and flaking finish.
\n\n\n
• Brush off any physical surface contamination e.g. moss, general dirt etc.
\n\n\n

\n\n\nApplication\n\n\n

\n\n\n
• Use as is, Do Not dilute.
\n\n\n
• Work large areas in zones.
\n\n\n
• Always work in direction of the grain. Do Not use a wire brush.
\n\n\n
• After rinsing, immediately treat surface with DECK CLEANER* while still wet.
\n\n\n
• Allow wood to dry thoroughly, 2-3 days, before refinishing.
\n\n\n

\n\n\nTest Procedure\n\n\n

\n\n\n
• Apply DEEP CLEANER
\n\n\n
• Allow to work 5 minutes.
\n\n\n
• Scrub surface to see if finish or dirt is lifting.
\n\n\n
• If lifting commence with job, if not wait a further 5 minutes and test again, continue this process up to a maximum of 20 minutes.
\n\n\n

\n\n\nStripping and Cleaning\n\n\n

\n\n\n
• Work in areas that can be completed in 5-20 minutes, then move on to the next area until entire surface is stripped or clean.
\n\n\n
• Apply DEEP CLEANER to the area to be stripped or cleaned and allow to work.
\n\n\n
• After time established in the test, scrub surface with a stiff scrubbing brush, if required flush with water at the same time OR use a pressure washer (max 60 bars/870 psi).
\n\n\n
• Thoroughly rinse the surface after stripping/cleaning including any adjacent areas, with fresh clean water.
\n\n\n

\n\n\nNB: The use of hot water makes the job easier.\n\n\nRemoving Mill Glaze\n\n\n

• Apply DEEP CLEANER to the area to be treated.
\n\n\n
• Allow to work 15 minutes.
\n\n\n
• Scrub surface with stiff scrubbing brush, if required flush with water at the same time OR use a pressure washer (max 60 bars/870 psi).
\n\n\n
• After removing the mill glaze, thoroughly rinse the surface including any adjacent areas with fresh clean water.
\n\n\n
