PCI-E FireWire 1394a Card with Cable Description
This PCI Express FireWire 1394a controller card includes a FireWire cable for immediate connection. It supports simultaneous operation of multiple high-performance devices with hot-swapping and plug-and-play functionality. Compatible with FireWire 800 and 1394a devices like hard drives, camcorders, and cameras, it uses a 1-lane PCI-Express interface with a 2.5Gb/s transfer rate. Compliant with IEEE 1394-1995 and 1394a-2000 standards, it is backward compatible with 400/200/100Mbps devices. The card features 2 x 1394a (9-pin) and 1 x 1394a (6-pin) ports, supports Windows and OS X systems, and includes a cable. Note: driver installation may be needed for video capture software.
