These 2 proteins are essential to the support structure of the skin and are responsible for ageing. Taking Pycnogenol can help the body to naturally preserve the health and presence of collagen and elastin. Free radicals are involved in the ageing process of all cells, including skin cells. Pycnogenol kills free radicals, helping cells to stay young. This is why Pycnogenol is often refererred to as the 'skin vitamin' or the 'oral cosmetic'. It rebuilds skin tissues, making skin more flexible, livelier, tighter, firmer, more elastic, smoother, healthier and thus younger looking.
