To prevent a rash from developing after coming into contact with poison ivy, oak or sumac:

1. Wet skin with cool water. 
2. Gently exfoliate the affected areas with the coarse side (top) of the soap bar. 
3. Using the smooth side (bottom) of the soap bar, create a thick lather and rub into skin. 
4. Leave lather on skin for at least five minutes and then rinse thoroughly, But gently.

Those with sensitive or dry skin should skip step 2. To soothe a rash that has already developed: Workup a lather a second time & allow soap to dry on your skin, for lasting relief. Use 3 times daily or as needed until the rash subsides.

For topical use only. Do not use if you have a sensitivity to any of the ingredients, or on broken skin. Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or if new symptoms occur.
