Description:
Procto-Hemolan control is a drug in the form of tablets, used for symptomatic treatment in case of intensification of symptoms related to hemorrhoids. The drug strengthens the veins and has a protective effect, as well as reducing the permeability of blood vessels.
Composition:
The active substance of the drug is diosmin (Diosminum). 1 tablet contains 1000 mg of diosmin. Excipients: polyvinyl alcohol, croscarmellose sodium, talc, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.
Indications and action
Symptomatic treatment in case of intensification of symptoms related to hemorrhoids. Procto-Hemolan control acts on microcirculation, reducing the permeability of small blood vessels, and also reduces the susceptibility of small blood vessels to rupture.
Dosage:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. The medicine is administered orally. Recommended dose: 3 tablets a day for 4 days, then 2 tablets a day for the next 3 days, with meals. Do not use more than the recommended dose. If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 7 days, please see your doctor.
Contraindications:
When not to take Procto-Hemolan control: if you are allergic to diosmin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Notice:
Procto-Hemolan control should be taken with meals.
Warnings and precautions:
If symptoms of hemorrhoids persist or worsen despite taking the medicine, consult your doctor. Treatment of symptoms associated with hemorrhoids should be short-term. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. The drug may be used during pregnancy only if clearly necessary and only with a doctor's prescription. If you become pregnant during treatment, you should seek medical advice as only your doctor can decide whether you should continue treatment. Due to the lack of data on the transfer into breast milk, the use of the drug during breastfeeding is not recommended. Store the medicine at a temperature below 25°C. Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
