PROline 40% Technical Grade Acetic Acid White Vinegar Weed Killer 10L

PROline 40% Technical Grade Acetic Acid White Vinegar Weed Killer 10L Description

40% technical grade acetic acid is an extremely strong, corrosive solution used in specialized applications such as aggressive weed killing and heavy-duty industrial cleaning. At this concentration, it is far more potent than household vinegar and even stronger than the commonly used 20% horticultural formulations. As a weed killer, 40% acetic acid acts as a powerful non-selective herbicide. It rapidly penetrates plant tissues, breaking down cell walls and dehydrating them to the point of complete collapse. Unlike lower concentrations, it is capable of killing mature, woody, and deeply rooted weeds, including invasive species that are resistant to weaker treatments. It is best suited for use on hard surfaces such as driveways, sidewalks, patios, and fence lines where total vegetation removal is desired. Because of its strength, it must be applied with extreme care to avoid contact with desirable plants, as it will destroy any vegetation it touches. For cleaning, 40% acetic acid is highly effective at dissolving heavy mineral deposits, scale, soap scum, and grease. It can strip away mold, algae, and stubborn residues from outdoor surfaces such as concrete, brick, and industrial equipment. In commercial and industrial environments, it is used where very strong acid cleaning is required, such as breweries, textile processing, and large-scale sanitation tasks. However, its corrosive nature means it can damage sensitive materials including natural stone, polished metals, and painted finishes, so testing on a small area is essential before widespread use. Because of its extreme strength, strict safety precautions are mandatory. Direct contact can cause severe burns to skin and eyes, and inhalation of fumes can irritate or damage the respiratory system. Protective gloves, goggles, and clothing must always be worn, and applications should only be carried out in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Storage requires tightly sealed, corrosion-resistant containers kept away from heat sources. Importantly, 40% technical grade acetic acid is not food grade and must never be used for consumption or household culinary purposes. In summary, 40% technical grade acetic acid is a highly concentrated, industrial-strength solution that provides maximum effectiveness for weed control and heavy-duty cleaning. It offers a natural alternative to synthetic chemicals but demands careful handling and protective measures due to its corrosive and hazardous properties.
