Quarto Description
Winner of awards all around the world, Quarto! is recognised as one of the top games of the past 30 years. It is an outstanding test of deductive reasoning. The rules are easy to understand: each of the 16 pieces has 4 different attributes. Line up 4 pieces that share one characteristic. The problem is you can't choose which piece you're going to play, your opponent chooses for you!Quarto! is possibly the most mentally tough game in the Gigamic range and requires focus, concentration and a poker-face. The solid wood construction and elegant feel of this 'Classic' edition complement this stylish game perfectly.Contents: one board, 16 wooden pieces.Age: 6+Players: 2Playing time: 10 - 20 minutes

Reviews of Quarto

You both have the same objective, to get a line of for pieces with a common feature, (shape, size, colour or solid/hollow) but you get to pick your opponents piece before they play which makes it really interesting. And frustrating when you get it wrong and give the game away. I've played this with my kids since they were about 5 but I play it with adults too. I'd highly recommend it.
