RDINSCOS Pinless Moisture Meter Non-Invasive Damp Meter Wood Moisture

Summary

• Protect Surfaces:This pinless moisture meter uses a non-invasive sensor to avoid leaving holes or scratches on walls or materials. In wood mode, accuracy is up to ±4%.
• Detect Potential Leaks:Wall and masonry modes display "relative" moisture values, ideal for quickly scanning for damp areas. Compare readings with dry areas to identify abnormal moisture.
• Easy to Use:The damp meter features a large backlit color LCD and a tri-color LED bar graph for real-time humidity monitoring. It triggers an alarm if levels exceed the set range. In bright light, use the HOLD function to freeze readings for easier viewing.
• Dry drywall typically reads 0–5%. Not recommended for thin or low-density materials like plasterboard. For deeper readings, use a professional meter with penetration capability.
• The wood moisture meter is penetrates up to 0.75inches deep, so wetter materials located below your subject material can also influence the readings, as can metal nails, workbench, your hand, etc
