The Ring Spotlight Cam Battery takes its name from the pair of LED strips that flank the glass lens housing. These lights activate when the camera's motion sensor detects movement, making sure that you still have full colour footage of any unexpected guests even when the sun's gone down. The spotlight also acts a deterrent, as a sudden bright light shining in a criminal's face might be enough to spook them off.

This security camera records footage in industry standard 1080p full HD video, making sure that the details of callers' faces are rendered with precision. This video is streamed live to you via the Ring app which is available for both Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as Windows 10 and Mac OS. You can watch footage directly from this security camera from any location. Provided you have an internet connection, you can keep an eye on your empty house while you're at work, on a business trip or even out of the country!

The lens has a wide 140° field of view, giving you coverage not only of your front porch but of the street around your house as well. This makes it difficult for intruders to evade the watchful eye of the Ring Spotlight Cam Battery. There's also a black and white IR night vision mode too, so if you'd rather have the camera unnoticeable in the dark, you can turn off the LED spotlights without rendering the camera blind.

In addition to the Ring Spotlight's camera capacity, it comes with a suite of audio security options too. A two-way audio system available in the Ring app allows you to speak to visitors at the front door. The app also allows you to activate an alarm siren to scare off unwanted guests. The siren reaches up to 110 decibels - that's as loud as a jackhammer! 

Please note: Some of the features included in the Ring app, including saving video footage, requires a subscription to the Ring Protect service at an additional monthly or annual cost. A Ring Protect subscription is not included with this product and is not required to use its basic features.
