Product Description The HypaGel Hot/Cold Pack is ideal for the ongoing treatment of inflammation, sprain and strain injuries, acute sports injuries or chronic muscle pain. The HypaGel Hot/Cold Pack can be cooled in a refrigerator or freezer for use in cryotherapy, or heated in a microwave for use in thermotherapy. This product can be used with the soft compression cuff, which has elasticated straps, making it suitable for comfortable application to muscles or joints (Compression Cuff sold separately). The HypaGel Hot/Cold Pack is available in the following sizes: - Compact (13cm x 14cm) - Standard (27cm x 16.5cm) - Large (30 x 20cm) Indications Pain relief, Injury treatment, Reducing inflammation or swelling Ingredients Water Glycerin Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose Preservative Directions For Cold Use: Place HypaGel in freezer for at least 30 minutes. If intended for use on eyes, refrigerate for 30 minutes. For Warm Use: Place HypaGel in hot (not boiling) water for 10 minutes. Alternatively, can heat in microwave covered with water in a microwaveable bowl. If at room temperature, heat for 1 minute on high wattage and allow to rest for 1 minute before applying. If frozen, heat for 75 seconds on high wattage and allow to rest for 75 seconds before applying. Directions can be found printed on the pack. Safety Warning Do not apply warm pack immediately after an injury, or to areas of swelling or redness. Never apply directly to skin without protection, such as a towel. For external use only. If fluid contacts skin or eyes, flush with water. Do not use if pack is punctured or torn. If gel is swallowed, induce vomiting and seek medical attention. Do not apply to open wounds. Keep out of reach of children. Inhalation: If inhaled, remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid. Skin Contact: If a reaction with skin contact occurs, immediately flush skin with soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. Eye Contact: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Do not allow victim to rub eyes. Check for and remove any contact lenses if easily possible. Get medical aid if symptoms occur. Ingestion: If swallowed, induce vomiting under the guidance of professional doctors. Wash mouth out with water. Get medical aid immediately.
