High tech security systems like burglar alarms and motion-sensing cameras are all very well, but if you want a simple and effective way to keep trespassers off your property, a strong fence is your first line of defence. The Saxon Metal Fence should do nicely! 

At almost a metre high the Saxon Metal Fence is big enough to prevent people from climbing over it easily, while still not attracting too much attention or becoming an eyesore at the bottom of your garden. With 17 iron bars 12mm thick, no one's going to be squeezing through this iron fencing either.

This single piece of iron fencing covers a gap 1.8 metres wide. It's a great choice for plugging a gap in a hedge or tying multiple fences together to fill a larger space. Installing it is no trouble at all because it includes fittings that let you mount the Saxon Metal Iron Fence to brickwork, metal or timber posts. 

Of course, intruders aren't the only thing that your iron fencing needs to keep at bay. If it couldn't resist rust, all potential burglars would need to do is wait until it fell apart on its own! Thankfully, this iron fence has been electro galvanised with a layer of zinc and then powder coated for a double helping of corrosion protection. This iron fencing will withstand territorial rain and thunderstorms, remaining standing for years to come.

Despite their historical animosity, the Saxons and the Normans have put aside their differences to bring you this metal fence. The Saxon Metal Fence is topped with a Fleur-de-Lys, an old symbol of French royalty. This metal flower has a dual purpose. It lends the iron fencing an aristocratic air, and it makes clambering over the sharp points a frightening prospect for any would-be vaulters! 

Please note: The Saxon Metal Fence comes with a selection of angle brackets and bolts but no screws. Nuts and bolts must be painted after fitting to ensure the fence remains weather resistant. Although the powder coating and electro galvanised zinc layering is effective in protecting the fence from rust, if the coating is scratched or chipped the metal will need to be repainted. To ensure a long life, the fence should be inspected annually for damage.

Finish is electro-galvanised for added rust resistance and powder coated black. Please note the galvanising is not a 100% rust proof guarantee. Like any metal product, if the coating is scratched or chipped then it will need to be touched up. It should be inspected annually and possibly toughed up or painted every couple of years to ensure long life.
