Surface Preparation

All surfaces to be painted should be free of loose soiling, corrosion products and grease. The degree of surface pretreatment, including priming, is dependent upon the substrate, the extent of any surface contamination, economic considerations and the final working environment of the coating. Observation of the principle and practice set out in B.S.5493 1977 is recommended and may be a condition of contract.

Mixing

It is essential that the material is thoroughly mixed before use.

Application

• Airless Spray: Yes - If thinning is required, use Guard Solvent A
• Roller/Brush: No

Note: In order to achieve the recommended dft, additional coats may be required depending on the equipment used, spraying techniques and substrate profile.
