Sinumedin is a drug that is used for rhinitis and sinusitis, as well as allergies.
Sinumedin – learn how it worksThe active substances contained in the preparation have an antihistamine and antiallergic effect (mepyramine) and reduce congestion of the mucous membrane and unclog the nose, as well as the openings of the paranasal sinuses (phenylephrine), thus making breathing easier.
Additionally, the excipient cetalkonium chloride has antibacterial properties.
The product is intended for adults and children over 6 years of age.

Sinumedin is used to treat rhinitis (runny nose) in inflammation of the nasal mucosa, including rhinitis occurring in the case of:
- allergies,
- sinusitis.
1 ml of nasal spray contains:
- active substances: mepiramine maleate 1.5 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 2.5 mg,
- excipients: glycerol, sodium chloride, cetalkonium chloride, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, polysorbate 20, purified water.
The medicine relieves runny nose, unclogs the nose and sinuses, facilitates breathing, and has antibacterial properties.
- Children over 6 years of age and adults: 2 doses in each nostril every 4 to 6 hours.
- The drug is administered intranasally.
- Do not use this medicine more often than 5 times a day or for longer than 3 days.

Lek Sinumedin stosuje się w leczeniu nieżytu nosa (katar) w zapaleniu błony śluzowej nosa, w tym nieżytu występującego w przypadku:
- alergii,
- zapalenia zatok.
1 ml areozolu do nosa zawiera:
- substancje czynne: mepiraminy maleinianu 1,5 mg, fenylefryny chlorowodorku 2,5 mg,
- substancje pomocnicze: glicerol, sodu chlorek, cetalkoniowy chlorek, metylu parahydroksybenzoesan, propylu parahydroksybenzoesan, polisorbat 20, woda oczyszczona.
Lek łagodzi katar, udrażnia nos i ujścia zatok przynosowych, ułatwia oddychanie, działa przeciwbakteryjnie.
- Dzieci powyżej 6 lat i dorośli: 2 dawki do każdego przewodu nosowego co 4 do 6 godzin.
- Lek podaje się donosowo.
- Nie należy stosować leku częściej niż 5 razy na dobę ani dłużej niż przez 3 dni.
