SPRAY ON CALIPER PAINT - ORANGE Description

Professional enamel coating for brake calipers and drums E-Tech Spray On Caliper Paint is a high quality, long lasting, enamel coating specially formulated with a ceramic resin to cope with temperatures of up to 250C, and is suitable for use on most brake calipers & drums. The spray-on application is simple to apply and provides a hard, chip resistant, long lasting finish which will retain its colour due to the high pigment content. Features: High quality gloss finish Quick and simple to apply No primer required Tough chip and crack resistant formula Resists brake dust, cleaning chemicals, oil, road salt and weathering Strong adhesion Excellent durability IMPORTANT - READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT SURFACE PREPERATION For best results ensure the brake caliper/drum and the paint are at room temperature before use (approx 17C to 21) For best results apply in a warm, dry and dust free area (garage, workshop/outbuilding etc) Use a steel brush or wire wool to remove loose dirt and rust deposits from the surface of the brake caliper. Then clean the area to be painted thoroughly with brake cleaner or a degreaser or steam cleaner, removing all traces of brake dust, oil, dirt, grease etc. Mask off any area that you do not want to be painted, or may be affected by any overspray.CAUTION - Be careful not to get any paint on brake discs or brake pads. The srea to be painted myst be completely dry and thoroughly clean before you strat to paint. APPLICATION - Always check your temperature ratings before applying Shake can vigorously for a mminimum of 2 minutes before use. Hold can 20-30cm (8-12 ") from surface and spray using a side to side motion. Build up layers with several thin coats allowing approximately 30 minutes between coats for the paint to dry to a tacky film (do not apply heavy coats). Shake can between coats. After applying the final coat allow 6-8 hours for the enamel to dry. Please note: Drying/curing times are dependant on the number and thickness of coats applied, and the ambient temperature at the time of applciation. After use turn can upside down, spray until nozzle is clear.
