Sprouts are the tender edible shoots of germinated seeds and beans.

Their slightly crunchy texture and sweet flavour of our sprouting seeds makes them a popular addition to a wide assortment of dishes.

Most people think of mung beans when seed sprouts are mentioned, but a wide assortment of seeds, nuts, grains, and beans can be sprouted.

To grow bean sprouts at home, start by soaking beans in lukewarm water overnight, next morning, drain the seeds and rinse them, place them in a wide mouthed jar covered with a cheesecloth or linen and place them in a cool dark place, rinsing in the morning and evening.

If the weather is extremely hot you may need to rinse the sprouting seeds more often to prevent them from becoming rancid.

When the seeds have developed short shoots, they are ready to eat.

Suitable for growing all year round sprouting seeds are usually ready to eat in 4-8 days.

Extremely nutritious, sprouts should be rinsed thoroughly before use.

Good for stir fry or excellent eaten raw.

Refunds will be issued when items are received back in saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date.
