The Arctis 5 features a Ski Goggle Suspension Band which perfectly contours across your entire head. This helps to distribute the weight of the headset evenly to eliminate pressure points, allowing you to game in comfort for extended periods of time.

You can enjoy every detail of the game audio as the Arctis 5 features DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Surround Sound. Along with the S1 audio driver, the headphones deliver balanced sound with impressive clarity to immerse you in games.
Retractable microphone
The Arctis 5 features a ClearCast microphone which uses a proprietary bidirectional design to deliver high sound clarity whilst also blocking out background noise with noise cancelling technology. To keep the microphone safe when not in use, you can retract it into the earcup to avoid it getting damaged between tournaments or LANs.
You can easily stay in control while using the headset as it features on-ear audio controls to adjust the volume and mute the audio directly. A USB ChatMixdial allows you to balance and adjust the volume between your game and audio chat to ensure that commands are heard clearly.
SteelSeries Engine 3
Using the SteelSeries Engine 3, you can create profiles and personalise the Arctis 5 for a unique gaming experience. Alter audio profiles, adapt the surround sound settings and more to find your ideal settings.

ClearCast Microphone
Every gaming headset has been using the wrong microphone. Even us. Until now, nobody ever went back to the beginning and challenged the status quo. All Arctis models feature a bidirectional ClearCast microphone. This re-engineered noise-canceling mic delivers incredibly clear voice communication, focusing on the user’s speech while acoustically eliminating virtually all background noise.
