It’s not too heavy, has a thick base and is suitable for the Aga and my induction hob. I certainly will be buying this brand again if or when I need to replace any other saucepan.
My arsenal of pans has been much improved with this versatile pan. Originally ordered with just sauce making in mind, it is also the perfect size, shape and design for multiple other uses - such as our morning porridge for which a milk pan is too small and our next size up pans are a little large.
This pan is well constructed, the non stick inner seems very robust and easy to clean. The deep sides prevent splashing when boiling/simmering, and the handle gives good control when pouring etc.
This pan is a little heavier than I expected but not overly so and remains easily handled although foodstuffs seem to take a little longer to heat up. A very robust, useful and excellently priced pan.
